Today we learned more about Greece. twenty percent of Greece is suitable for farming because most of Greece is mountains. Diets consist of grains, grapes, olives and fish. Temperature was forties in the winter and low eighties in the summer was pretty nice year-round. There weather was better back during there time then it is now I'm not sure what but I think it is because of climate change. Mycenae is on a rocky ridge on Pelponmeus that was protected by a twenty foot wall were enimies could not invade them even if they tried. in 1400 BCE Mycenae's invaded Crete and absorbed the Minoan culture. Around 1200 BCE the mysterious " sea people" began to invade Mycenae and they burnt the palace. Dorians are far less advanced, trade- based economy collapsed and the culture was on a decline. Greeks fought in many wars. Trojan war started in 1200 BCE. Pysidian was angry at Homer so he sent a lot of storms to throw him off course and send him on different islands.
